Jeremey was recognized by one of our Volunteers for an act of kindness. We suffered a very long and hard winter this year and a Volunteer, Jo Ann, our main information desk greeter, was having difficulty getting to work. She tried to scrape the ice and snow off of her car and slipped and almost fell on the ice in her apartment complex parking lot. She knew she wasn't going to be able to make it to work so she called her Supervisor and told her that she was scared to drive and also didn't want to slip and fall, she is deathly afraid of falling! Jo Ann's supervisor suggested that she call the hospital to speak to the House Supervisor to see if they could help her get to work.
Jeremey was working in the ER that day and he offered to go get her. When he picked her up at her home he let her hold on tightly to him so she could get to the car safely. He dropped her off at the main entrance to the hospital which was clear of ice and snow. After her shift, Jeremey was kind enough to also take her home. He made sure she arrived safely and helped her to her door. Jo Ann was so grateful for his assistance and kindness and wanted everyone to know what a great person and employee Jeremey is!
