Virginia was able to provide comfort and gained trust from a patient and a very anxious and worried daughter as she demonstrated confidence, expertise and empathy. Even on days when Virginia was not the primary RN, the daughter would still come and talk to her and solicit opinions from her. Through Virginia's years of experience she is able to gauge patient and family needs and be that person that they can trust and build rapport with.
