Adam is the epitome of a DAISY Award Honoree. I have never seen a time where he did not go above and beyond for his patients. There was a night where Adam had been in a patient's room for an hour so I went to check on him. As I walked in the room, I saw a warmth and compassion I had never seen before. His patient had a terrible day, was shaking, sad, and depressed and Adam was at her bedside holding her hand, comforting her, and doing everything he could to help with her situation. He had a million other things to do, but instead, he took the time out of his crazy schedule to care for this woman. I have never seen a smile so big on a patient's face after he was done caring for her. You could truly tell he made a difference in the patient's day and maybe even her life. Adam is an amazing nurse, co-worker, and friend. I would trust him with my patients any day. I am so honored and proud to have worked with him.
