Tori is an extraordinary nurse, and stands for everything a DAISY Award Honoree should be. Every day she makes handling our outpatient unit look like a breeze. This is a very challenging position, as the patients want to receive their treatments quickly and get back to their normal lives. Although she has many tasks to perform in a very short time with each patient, she makes every patient feel like they are the only one she has to tend to for the day.

One patient is especially particular about how she wishes treatments be performed, and is very big on punctuality. Tori always takes care of her in a timely fashion, and has even initiated music therapy with her. She is much more at ease now when she has to visit and reports she really adores Tori.

Tori is a really great person to work with. She always comes to work with a smile and helps out every chance she gets. I admire that she always seems to keep her cool, even when the day is hectic. She has been a true blessing to the unit, and to our patients.
