My mother had two surgeries in March. She was very fortunate to have Yasmine as one of her nurses. Yasmine was not only caring and knowledgeable; she was very positive and responsive to the needs of my mom and my anxious family. There are many ways she proved herself worthy of the DAISY Award. For example, she helped my mom realize that there are many things she has to look forward to on her road to recovery. My mom couldn't get comfortable and she was down about her diagnosis. Yas gave her a picture of a cat since my mom couldn't have her kitty in the hospital. It made her smile every time she looked at it. My mom has a long haul ahead of her, but if she ever goes back to the hospital, she wants Yas to take care of her because she kept her promises and she is awesome.
