Matthew developed an orientation program for new employees. He is consistently kind, gentle, personable and outgoing to not only patients, but also to staff throughout the Health System while showing empathy in all situations. Matthew is described as being a real 'morale booster' and bringing a great sense of humor and confidence to the most nervous of patients. His positive attitude is an invaluable asset and he consistently focuses on meeting patient and family needs while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills.

Matthew's commitment to excellence is evidenced by being a Clinical Ladder II, participating in Nursing Congress, serving on committees and giving in-services.
