Kelly walked in and introduced herself with not just the typical introduction. She asked many questions to get to know my husband and make him feel very comfortable with her. She continued to show great care and knowledge through her shift with him, taking the time to answer all of his questions and concerns, big and small. I planned to spend the night...the prior nurse stated all the recliners on the floor were in use. Kelly checked elsewhere in the hospital and within 15-20 minutes she walked in with a recliner and bedding. A few days later, though she was not his nurse, she said Hi and hoped he was doing better. While getting to know us, we found out that we bought our dog from her grandmother 13 years ago. While all my husband's care at LMH was good, hers stood out above the rest! She went above and beyond what was expected of her for her job, and it made a difference.
