Karin was my night nurse. I was in horrible pain after surgery. Karin was compassionate and caring. She called my doctor numerous times and did not stop until she had secured an order to control my pain. She was at my bedside most of the night. She followed the orders of the doctor and continued to support me when they didn't work. She was there for me, being my advocate. Her diligence was the reason I finally got relief. She was an excellent nurse and an angel of mercy.

I did not get an opportunity to thank her that visit. The hospital is lucky to have a nurse so caring. When I had to come back for a second surgery, my pain control was much better. I don't think I would have returned if it had not been for the wonderful nursing care Karin gave me and the caring and concern she showed when I was in all that pain. I thought I was going to die and she saved me. Please thank her again for being such a good nurse. The profession should be proud have her in their ranks.
