Gladys is one of the most caring and patient nurses I know. She works as a charge nurse on our floor and has always gone above and beyond, to help her patients and coworkers. In particular, one night, our floor was super busy and it was the first time Gladys had sat down. I asked her to help with a patient and without hesitation, and with a smile, she jumped up to help. This is Gladys every day!

Gladys is not only one of the best nurses I've ever worked with, but one of the best people in general I have ever met. It is hard to describe a particular event where Gladys showed behavior deserving the recognition because she displays these qualities each time she puts on her nursing uniform. Gladys truly has a heart of GOLD and always goes above and beyond in her nursing duties. Her kind and humble attitude combined with her work ethic and love for her job make her a terrific nurse. I always feel a little safer when Gladys is on the floor. I know if any situation arises Gladys will be by my side!
