Unfortunately, cancer has made me an all-too-frequent visitor to your facility. Steven Bock has stellar skills and dedicated service. My last hospital visit was lengthy and rather traumatic as my cancer continues to progress with debilitating pain.
Steven's compassion and willingness to have those "hard" conversations with my family and myself were of profound assistance in learning to use my new feeding tube, how to control my pain and the discussion of things I need to consider as I attempt to cope with this depressing and fatal disease.
He was always available to answer our questions, make suggestions and offer words of encouragement and support.
Your personnel screening process must be absolutely amazing as you had the foresight and wisdom to select a staff that cannot be duplicated with genuine care giving. Steven, and I'm sure others, take their patients home with them in their hearts. He was always anxious to know how my night went and how I felt. I do feel he is part of my family, and my family grew very fond of him as well. They really appreciated the care and attention that Steven gave to their Mom.
