A gyn patient which was the first case of the day having a D&E procedure for loss of heartbeat. Patient had spoken with Alice and explained she felt a mistake was made and wanted another blood test and ultrasound. The patient's attending was in a rush as well as the next attending scheduled in that room. Everyone just wanted to get the day started but Alice being the patient's stronger voice spoke to both of the attendings and kindly said "we owe it to our patients to give them peace of mind in their heart and soul besides just rushing." They totally agreed and realized they were rushing for no real reason. So the proper time was give for patient's safety and peace of mind.
