My grandpa was taken to the Emergency Room for a bowel obstruction. Nurse Elizabeth was taking care of him. Nurse Elizabeth deserves the DAISY award because she was a positive nurse with tons of positive energy. She made a special connection with my family because she talked to everyone in the room and had a good conversation. She was very thoughtful,she brought my grandpa warm blankets and she constantly checked up on my grandfather. She really let us know she cared by just a constant check up and those check ups really gave us a sense of trust that she is a fantastic nurse!

She really educated us on what was happening with my grandfather and described to us possible things my grandpa could under go. She and the doctor worked very well to relieve my grandpa's pain and helped him to feel better. Elizabeth was a fantastic nurse! She definitely deserves the DAISY Award! She is one of the best nurses and we need more like her! She needs to be notified on such an amazing nurse she is. She has definitely inspired me to one day, when I'm older and when I am ready, to be a nurse. I wanna be just like her.
