Rebecca Peterson does an outstanding job of caring for her patients. She is kind, compassionate, and her gentle approach is always soothing to her patients. Rebecca has a quick wit and demonstrates critical thinking and careful care-planning to ensure her patients are safely cared for. Another quality I really appreciate about Rebecca is that she is a wonderful listener. When you are speaking with her, no matter what else is going on around her, you feel her complete attention and thoughtful concentration on what you are saying. This is a talent many could emulate.
Rebecca also cares for her team. She is a frequent organizer of events that help to raise engagement among team members. Her happy life-outlook influences the moods of those around her. She is accepting of differences in others and is very nonjudgmental in nature which makes it easy for others to approach her and feel comfortable around her.
Rebecca's most significant accomplishment was her recent involvement in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk Campaign. Rebecca not only agreed to be a walker but also a team captain. She has recruited others to participate including members of our team and her family and friends. Rebecca organized many activities and fundraising opportunities. She encouraged us to eat Heart Smart lunches in our break room and to take the stairs instead of elevator to strengthen our hearts. Rebecca helped to raise nearly $2000 in donations from various local merchants and retailers and was able to put together seven wonderful baskets that were silently auctioned during our Spring Extravaganza. Her dedication and commitment is way beyond what anyone would expect.
Thank you Rebecca, for your resourcefulness and dedication and your compassion and warm heart. We are very fortunate to be able to work alongside you!
