Casey was nominated by one of her patient's that she had cared for over the past 3.5 years. The patient stated that she is proud of her work and her nursing skills and her demeanor shows it. She takes time to explain everything, is always helpful when questions are asked and always has a smile on her face. Each time the patient was admitted to the hospital Casey remembers her and tries to lift her spirits. On the most recent admission the patient had lost her best friend who was the family's pet while in the hospital. Casey not only cared for the patient physically but also emotionally. The patient asked to take a moment to recognize her as she loves her job and is a very awesome person and most of all cares for her patients.
