Lori is a wonderful, caring nurse that has helped my family through a difficult transition. My sister and brother-in-law had their twins at 33 weeks. They are new parents so having their children in the NICU was a difficult and emotional event. Lori's calm demeanor and caring heart helped ease our stress and keep us focused on the positive. Her knowledge helped this young couple master parenting skills that are necessary for preemie parents. Lori is an asset to our profession.

Lori has been helpful in the care of our grandchildren, twins! The nursing care was perfect and professional. She was able to help all of the family members, especially the new parents. We came to the NICU with our adopted daughter because of poor feeding, Lori was wonderful to work with. She helped to get a schedule on feeding the baby. She always brightens our day with her fun spirit. It was our first full day in the NICU after a rough night and Lori made us welcome right away. She decorated the crib so it looked more cheerful and made our experience here in the NICU less stressful. She is truly deserving of this award.
