Donna was an exceptional nurse. She cared for me in a way my own mother would. Not only was she knowledgeable in her duties as a nurse she had a keen sense of my needs and emotions. When I felt like a pouring out my concerns she always took time not only to listen but to offer advise that brought comfort.

When I didn't feel like talking she promptly did what needed to be done and went on with her duties. When I was cold she offered blanket without me having to ask. She was compassionate, competent and her attitude showed that she loved her job as she also shared with me. One experience was when the doctor changed my diet to solids about 2pm one afternoon, the cafeteria was notified but did not bring lunch. Donna was determined for me to have lunch, she called 3 different times to see what the problem was. Needless to say I received lunch.
