On May 24th, I took our son into Acute Care after being sick for a week. They immediately sent us to ER so he could be admitted into the hospital. We had great care from dozens of medical providers over the three days, but a nurse, Spencer Taylor, stood out above and beyond the rest. Spencer built a relationship with our son of trust, care, and friendship. He always went above and beyond advocating for his care on a hour-by-hour basis. After the doctors would leave the room, Spencer would answer all of our questions and made sure he brought it down to a level a layperson could understand. Several times, Spencer went to bat for us making sure he had the care he needed.

We are grateful for Spencer's kind spirit, advocating heart, and his genuine spirit of excellence. He is an "All Star" in our entire family's eyes.
