Thank you all for caring for my 93 year old father who was admitted for an acute phase of CHF. Due to urinary retention, he required a longer hospital stay than normal. Nyssa was always caring, considerate and thinking on her feet. My father was in pain and required straight catheterizing and a Foley catheter. The first Foley catheter was very painful, probably due to an enlarged prostate and poorly functioning kidney. When I asked Nyssa so many questions and requested follow up from the cardio vascular team, she had the answers I wanted and put in the requests without hesitation. She's a nurses nurse. She did it all with a smile and friendly manner. She knows how a duck swims: calm above the water and kicking like crazy below the surface. She deserves this DAISY Award.

I have to say also that ALL of the nurses my father encountered had excellent bedside manner and were confident in their skills. Nyssa just stood out more. The quality of care on 3E is superb! Thank you so much.
