Dana's caring manner makes her stand out among her co-workers. We feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to have had Dana as our Nurse. She just brightens the room with her smile and great personality. Always focused on her patient's care, she makes them feel as if they are her only patient. My 82 year old husband was admitted for tests and surgery with 12 to 14 days of care predicted. We live 75 miles away and I am handicapped therefore I could not get back and forth easily. I was worried about how I could stay with my husband as I was having leg problems and was told to keep my leg elevated as much as possible. Dana picked up on the situation and said that she was going to find me a recliner. Within minutes she had one brought to our room. I was so touched, I cried. She did many things to make us more comfortable, she always left our room saying, "if you all need anything please call me." We think she personifies everything you would want reflected to the public about what a Nurse is like. God sure knew where Dana could touch many lives, NURSING.
