My grandmother, was admitted on Thanksgiving due to A-fib issues. In addition to not feeling well, my grandmother was depressed having missed the holiday. When she finally got to the room C603, Brooke was waiting for her with an attitude so positive, it changed my grandmother's mood. She had extensive knowledge about my grandmother's history ahead of time and went out of her way to make her comfortable and happy. She took the time to get to know my grandmother personally and even stayed late after her shift was over to take her to the bathroom so she wouldn't have to go with a male nurse. Brooke is an example of what a perfect nurse should be.
