Consistently, the patients and families Logan Pearce cares for will talk about the wonderful nurse that he is. I saw this at work one day with one of our cancer patients. I found Logan at the bedside holding the hand of one of our patients. She was crying and he was just listening. I stood there for a while and watched as he rubbed her arm, offered her a tissue and the offered to pray with her. When he was done, I sat down and spoke with the patient. She went on about how she had been crying all weekend and that Logan would come in and sit with her. She said that she knew how busy he was but he'd take the time just to sit with her while she cried. She further added that this wasn't the first time she'd been here and how Logan was like that every time.

Logan's compassion and healing touch is commented on by all of his patients. He's our gentle giant at 6'7". He always helps everyone. It's wonderful to watch the art of nursing at its best. We are so blessed to have him on our team.
