Juliet has been an employee at UF Health for over 30 years. She is an outstanding nurse, preceptor and overall a terrific person. Whenever we have a patient on the unit who is being discharged that is homeless or just down on their luck; Juliet brings in a new backpack that is filled with food, snacks, socks, perhaps a pair of flip flops and t-shirt, gift cards or different things these patients can use to get back on their feet.

I had no idea she even did this until one of the other nurses saw her giving it to a patient. She never told anyone, never made a big deal about it and never asked for any donations. She saw a need and took it upon herself to do the right thing for a group of people that may have absolutely nothing when they leave the hospital.

Juliet consistently goes above and beyond but giving so much of herself is a true testament to her dedication to providing EXCELLENT patient care. She is an asset to UF Health and the patients that we serve.
