I remember the first day I was admitted here right after my doctor's visit due to an incompetent cervix. I was afraid. I first met Amanda that day she saw me standing in the corner waiting for my room to get ready. She came to me and said, "Hey, you should not be standing", and directed me to a seat in the hall. I will never forget that! She would be my nurse during a time I would be here for 55 days! She has truly convinced me that there are angels here on earth.
Every time I had her, she was professional, attentive, down to earth, positive, passionate about her job, and just all around the definition of how a nurse should be! She has a great spirt. She is always informative and comes in with a smile. She talked with me and lifted me up when I felt like I wanted to give up. She made my day every time I saw her! She is not just a nurse to me, she is a friend as well and I will never forget her!
