I would like to recognize Vida because she's simply the reason I can leave this hospital with a little positivity and love in my heart during the most difficult thing I will ever have to go through in my life. I walked in here so scared not knowing what was going to happen. She told me her story and I instantly felt bonded to her. I knew in the shakiness of her voice when she spoke to me how much she understood and cared about us. She knew exactly what we were going through and how we felt. She was extra careful and caring while taking care of us. I want her to know how much I appreciate her and have so much love for her in my heart. It was the first time meeting her, it might be the last, but I really will cherish her for the rest of my life. I looked forward to seeing her come into our room to talk to us and she checked on us more than anything to make sure we were ok. She gave us a lot of amazing advice and was just there to answer any difficult questions we had. We will never ever forget this amazing woman and we want her to know how truly amazing she is. Words can never explain how much we appreciate her.
