... My son was a patient in the ICU. Jessie went above and beyond in caring for my son both times he was in your unit. He is a quadriplegic and many of the nurses do not have patience to care for him and meet all of his needs. He has a lot of pain and spasms. He needs to be re-positioned frequently and his emotional state is very anxious. Jessie goes the extra mile to stretch him, re-position him, fix his pillows and calm his muscle spasms. She makes sure all his needs are met by involving the appropriate doctors even the physical medicine team.

Jessie understands that we have insurance issues many times in getting back to the Children's Institute and makes sure to cover all the bases as well. She spends time talking with my son and making him feel secure and at ease with his new condition. If you request anything from her, you can count on it being taken care of. I never worry when I leave and put my son in her care. It is a pleasure to have Jessie as his nurse.
