A couple from out of town was in Newnan and staying at a local hotel so the husband could receive cancer treatment at CTCA (a local Cancer Treatment Center). Very unexpectedly, the husband went into cardiac arrest and was transported to our ER and expired. The wife was devastated and her family was 8 hours away. She had no ride and was lost. Yvette connected with the wife in a profound way and immediately took care of her. She took her for coffee at the end of her shift, which turned into breakfast, which turned into her spending many hours with her to ensure she was ok until her family could arrive.
