... My husband was moved down to 1 North where he passed away the morning of June 19. I want to make acknowledgement of our night nurse, Gary Belnap. He went above and beyond in my opinion. He held me while I grieved for my husband and he offered to make phone calls for me. These were phone calls that I, myself needed to make. He treated my husband with dignity and respect. I told him how much I appreciated everything that he did for us even though it is his job. His reply was that it wasn't his job, that it was his privilege to do what he did. I just want to let the staff of your facility know how much my family and I appreciate him. It would do my heart good to see that he is acknowledged.
