Nurse Manager Katie Frank, RNC, BSN, (OB/Birthing Department and Med/Surg) and Nurse Manager Amy Groff, RN, BSN, (Emergency Department and CCU) were recognized by the Chief of Staff and the Emergency Room Medical Director at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital for their tireless efforts during the COVID pandemic.
"They were both always available and spent countless hours in meetings and discussions surrounding the pandemic. They were there when needed to staff and fill shifts, as well as counsel staff and patients. They are incredibly dedicated and put their work in the healthcare field above all else during this crisis. We are forever grateful for all they have done and we would not have weathered this storm without them. They were the clinical backbone during this crisis and we are both honored and privileged to work alongside them."
