I was admitted for a rabies bite infected by a feral cat. It hurt. I only had the use of one arm and, as a 'hard stick', I was having trouble keeping my IV that was in my thumb. Nassar would not let the lab workers poke me over and over to draw blood. He put in a call to the PICC team who came to my room with an ultrasound machine and was able to put a perfect IV line further up my arm so that I could have full use of my one good hand. So awesome! Thank you to the PICC team and thank you to Nassar for tracking him down.
Not only is Nassar very knowledgeable and friendly with a great personality, but he is also very efficient and creative in solutions to issues that make sense! He can find more than one way to fix the problem. He is a great nurse and you don't see many male nurses, and I felt very comfortable in his care. I was very impressed when his shift was over, and he took the time to introduce me to the next nurse taking over for him. He went through my entire medical history with me and the new nurse present. I thought that was awesome. I wish more nurses would follow his example! Thank you to Nassar!

Nassar was my nurse for 3 days. He kept me pain-free and as soon as I would put the call light on, he was there. There was one night when I was in extreme pain and he called the doctor right away for something stronger. He is very patient, kind, caring, and checks up on you while you're sleeping.
