Donna had been caring for a patient with cancer, who had been here for several weeks. The patient was losing her hair because of chemo treatment and requested a pillowcase for her head to capture all the hair she was losing. Donna called the House Supervisor in the middle of the night shift to get into the gift shop and purchase a scarf for her patient with her own money. Donna said, "I cannot put a pillowcase on my patient's head!" She showed such sincere compassion and loving care to this patient who is going through one of the most trying times of her life.
