I have been coming to the University of Chicago Medicine for many years. I've had multiple surgeries and of course that means many nurses during all of my admissions here. One nurse has stood out from all of them. Mr. Syed Saad Iqbal has been the most caring and compassionate nurse. He has kept me informed of all medications he has given me and is extremely prompt in responding to all of my needs. If I need meds, he's here before I have to page him. If I need a gown, I have it in two minutes. He's got a good sense of humor and is so very kind. I have anxiety about getting new nurses and lucked out with him! All the nurses have been great but Syed Saad Iqbal has really helped me cope with the stress and depression one can get from having to be sick and in a hospital. Thank you all for doing a fantastic job!
