Luke was in my room to greet me along with the RN and the CNA. This to me shows that there will be accountability for the service provided (not just doing their jobs but having compassion for their sick patients).
The second encounter with Luke was when he listened to the immediate problem I was having with my medications. He took an unconventional method of verifying my medication dosage. Then he only used this evidence to converse with the doctor through the RN as to why he was being paged. Therefore, along with my explanation and verification from the pharmacy, they were able to correct the problem.
This type of service that Wake Forest Baptist Health is providing will set them above anyone else. Right now, Luke and this hospital have set the bar extraordinarily high.
