They say actions speak louder than words. That motto holds true when it comes to Maricon Estebar's dedication to her role as practice coordinator.

One busy evening, Maricon stepped in to help a confused patient on her unit. To help ease the patient, she took the patient on a brief walk by wheelchair. When the patient became impulsive and tried to stand on her own, Maricon instinctively tried to catch her. Unfortunately, the situation ended with Maricon falling face-first on the ground. Despite a bloody nose, she remained calmed and asked others to focus first on the patient's well-being, and she insisted on staying on duty throughout the night to help care for others. Even after recovering days later but still nursing a black eye, Maricon insisted on coming back to work, ready to serve others.
