Ally was my nurse when I had my son. In a word she was exceptional. I had had a poor experience when I had my daughter 3 years ago and my experience with Ally was the complete opposite. She was very attentive, and not only cared for me but was a constant presence and kept my husband informed throughout the entire experience. I had a complication with my epidural where only my upper body became numb. I was scared and started crying. Ally jumped right in, called the Doctor and calmed me down so that my baby would get the precious oxygen that he needed from me. During that scary time she never left my side and advocated for me with the physician, offering me alternatives for my pain relief (since my epidural didn't work I felt the entire thing.) She called my doctor in the perfect time so that she could deliver my baby (which was very important to me). All in all she made a very exciting, but terrifying experience so much better for me and my family.

After my son was born she ordered me a meal promptly (I was starving). She promoted me having skin to skin time with my son as well as nursing him promptly. Ally even came to check on me in post partum the next day. She is truly an outstanding RN that should be recognized and rewarded for her care that is way above any that I have received in the past.
