My son was brought into the ED after suffering a seizure. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor. His family was not able to be with him because of COVID.
The next day Jenny was his nurse. She brought him down so his family could see him through the glass. This did wonders for him. He had surgery to remove the tumor, again no family with him. Two days later my son thought he would be able to come home but suffered a setback. This put him into a deep depression.
Three days later my son was severely depressed. Jenny was his nurse again and went above and beyond to talk to him and care for him. If it was not for her care I don't think my son would have made it out of that state of mind. She has been amazing with him and his care. As much as we hated not being there with him, knowing when he had Jenny as his nurse was comforting for all of us. I really can't even begin to thank her for showing my son such care and compassion.
Some nurses get into this profession for the money. This is definitely not the case with Jenny. She is one of the best out there. In these times, when no one can be there with your family, she became family to him and to us. I will never forget the love and compassion she showed my son.
