Unjeoung noticed a life threatening arrhythmia on the monitor and immediately ran to the patient's room anticipating what would need to be done. After calling a code she began to treat the patient. When the code team arrived she had already stabilized the patient. She then organized the team and delegated to each person their responsibility. The patient recovered, improved over the next few days, and was able to go home. She did this all with a caring, compassionate attitude. Due to her patient centered care, teamwork, and strong leadership ability she saved a life that day.
