Kristin is not only an extraordinary nurse, she is knowledgeable, she always comes with a good attitude, she takes the time with each of her patients to hold their hands and make sure they are comfortable, understand and feel important. She is also in the process of teaching a new nurse, and she uses her unfailing kindness to teach this new nurse with positivity. I have watched her interact with patients several times and I have seen how her warmth and her ability to create rapport with a patient in such a short time is the difference between a nurse tasking a patient and a nurse truly caring for a patient.
Kristin might not spend an extended amount of time with her patients, but she leaves a lasting impression on them. She is not only a compassionate nurse to her patients but embodies the true definition of a teammate. She is always willing to drop whatever she is doing to help or find a way to take care of her assignment and help you with yours. She was born to be a nurse and I am grateful to call her a teammate and a friend. She is nothing but a joy to work with and I look forward to continuing to work alongside her and learn from her.
