Donna O'Brien, Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department is our most recent recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses after a colleague nominated her because "she is the definition of a caring nurse and outstanding manager."

According to her colleague, Donna is always willing to take on tasks that, while may be stressful for her, ease the stress of others. "Her genuine acts of kindness are infectious and lead to a caring environment and community. Those who are blessed to encounter her peaceful presence feel warmed by her lasting impressions."
