Alexis has been so attentive during this time of quarantine. She has taken videos of patient milestones and sent them to the family. For example, sitting in a chair using a passy muir valve and speaking for the first time, seeing a new granddaughter for the first time, and trying his first ice chip. These are major accomplishments that a family loves to see of their loved ones. I'm very proud to call her my co-worker, her compassion is outstanding.

Alexis, you have made an extremely noble career choice, caring for people when they are most fragile and on their worst days. You choose selflessness every time you step into your scrubs. Thank you for being the helper and hero we needed. You forced me to take care of myself so that I could be strong for my daughter. There are no words that could express my earnest appreciation for your attention and care. For your vigilance, I will be forever grateful.
