Zach was one of the first people I met on my journey to donate my kidney. He always was so friendly, calming, welcoming, and always treated me as if I was his only patient. As COVID-19 hit, Zach's duties changed and he faced them with positive energy that always made it a joy to connect with him. Once surgery opened up again, Nurse Zach always kept me informed and reassured me that he was always available to answer all my questions (except the one I kept bugging him about - where was my kidney going?) Zach even made sure his schedule worked so he could visit me in the hospital in the morning after the surgery. That kindness meant the world to me. In a world of uncertainty and confusion, Nurse Zach was a constant bright light that offered me professional nursing with a blessing of kindness and joy.
