First off I would like to thank everyone at PCH for saving our son's life. We spent almost two long, painful, emotional, and stressful months in the CVICU. Lauren was one of the first nurses that played a crucial role in our son's life. He was in extremely critical condition and we were holding our breath every minute of that first week. We were scared for our son's life while Lauren put her blood, sweat, and tears into keeping him alive. She also did it with a smile on her face and just kept telling our son how handsome he was.
Lauren's connection, love, and care for our son are what kept his fuel from running out. She is one of the main reasons he has now defied all odds and is progressing faster and further than anyone expected. We are forever grateful to everyone who was a part of our son's journey!
Lauren, thank you for always keeping the faith and giving our son all the love and support that we could ever ask for. His journey will continue on and he will be a very strong, confident, and resilient boy because of you. Thank you for saving our son's life.
