The morning after surgery I met Connan after a sleepless night. She greeted me with her warm smile and told me she would be my nurse for the day. I began having chest pressure and severe pain. I hit my call light and she was right there for me.
The day before I had my thyroid removed the pain in my chest grew to a 9. She took my BP which was very high and she jumped into action without making me feel any more alarmed than what I was. She comforted me with placing her hand in mine. She made total eye contact assuring me she was there to help. I knew in my heart I was in the best hands I could be in.
She listened to me and cared about every word. I described to her exactly how I felt and I knew she not only cared, but she took action and comforted me.
God sends special people into the medical field and I know for sure he sent Connan. I know for sure she treats all her patients this way. If you're under her care she definitely gives her heart and soul to her profession.
