Bethany is a remarkable ED nurse. I enjoy working with her on a daily basis. She is a great team player, I know I can depend on her. Bethany goes out of her way to demonstrate compassionate care to her patients and family members.
An example of that would be when she had to care for a 3month old that was coding in the ED. Unfortunately the baby did not survive, so it was a difficult time for both the family and the ED staff. It is every parent’s worst nightmare and it really hit close to home for Bethany; however she remained calm and focused when she was with the parents. Bethany tried to comfort them in the best way she knew how, and made sure the family had everything they needed. Sometimes it is the little things that make such a difference to others.
Bethany is a wonderful example of a skilled, compassionate nurse who makes a difference in the lives of her patients and fellow co-workers every day.
