Adam Escajeda has cared for 19 patients in his tenure with Thrive. He averages 60+ hours per week, rarely taking time off, and often spending less time with his own family than he does with his patients. His wife was proudly in attendance when Adam was presented with his DAISY Award because she understands what a difference her husband makes.
Adam is committed to providing exceptional care for his patients, and he always says yes to an open shift. Not one to take time off, Adam requested 5 days off, away from his own family, to accompany an adult, vent-dependent ALS patient to his daughter's high school graduation. His Thrive teammates were so proud when he sent a photo of the patient happily by his daughter's side.
