Nurse Sheila is very approachable and easy to connect with. Her bright and positive attitude had a very positive effect on my staying and recovering here. She feels and also acts as a friend. Though she is still professional, her friendly attitude and easy-going personality have made my stay more pleasant. Thank you, Nurse Sheila!

My whole experience while staying in Shady Grove Hospital was great. All the nurses were very nice, especially Sheila. She went above and beyond to make sure my baby and I were well taken care of. You can tell she treats her patients with respect and at the same time, she made us feel like we were part of her family. I can tell she enjoys doing what she is doing, which is very important. I would definitely nominate her as an Extraordinary Nurse! If I do get a chance to come back, I would definitely come to see you and I know I would be in good hands with you. Thank you so much for everything! My family really appreciates what you have done for us while we stayed here. You made the whole experience wonderful.

The experience of having a baby at Shady Grove was great, but one person, in particular, made it WONDERFUL AND OUTSTANDING. Nurse Sheila is not only so professional but also a great human being. She went far and beyond in everything my baby, my husband and I needed. She was so willing to help, to find the right solution for everybody. The world is so much better with people like her. She is kind, with a great smile on her face. We felt so blessed to have her as a nurse. We do highly recommend her with her exceptional work. For this and everything I couldn't express in words, Sheila is a true DAISY Nurse! She is amazing!

I am a first-time mom and we gave birth during a scary time with COVID-19. That means that friends and family could not be here to help. So we were very fortunate to have great support from many Shady Grove staff members. Many nurses went above and beyond. We wanted to thank Sheila for supporting us with education, encouragement, and responsiveness. As a first-time mom, it's hard to know if you are doing it "right." Sheila gave us great advice - we worked with her during two shifts - about a range of topics. We will remember it and are so grateful to her and the team! She gave us such love and caring and competent attention. It helped things feel like home during a very strange time.
