A grateful grandmother from New Jersey was visiting to help her daughter and son-in-law after the birth of their second child, when the elder, a 2-year-old girl, became ill. After noticing tremors and a 104-degree fever, they decided to bring her to the Peds ED. The grandmother said:
"Erin was polite, comforting, compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient and generous in heart and spirit. There is nothing more terrifying than a sick child, except perhaps to have a sick child with a newborn in the house. Erin was so thorough; she even helped us with ways to manage isolation and quarantine from our new baby and her nursing mother. We could not have been more pleased with our visit and were extremely comforted during our time of need and treated in a manner that was educating and professional. Thank You Erin Rovelli!"
