Aliza goes above and beyond for her patients and coworkers. She always has a smile on her face and a cheerful attitude that is infectious. She is an informal leader in our PACU. Anyone familiar with surgery knows that the end of the day can be very hectic and stressful. She always keeps a positive attitude and leads her team through these stressful situations. She knows when to ask for help if she needs it.
Her patients receive excellent care and she remembers to keep in touch with family members that are waiting to hear about how their loved one is doing. When we are holding patients in the PACU, she does everything she can to make sure that the patient's family is able to come back and be with their loved ones as they wait.
Aliza is passionate about nursing and cares about doing what is right.
