Michael was an exceptional nurse. Michael explained the significance of all our care and treatment. He was very attentive to all our needs; even at 2 in the morning. My pain was horrible, yet my blood pressure remained low. Michael would try different nursing measures to get my pain under control and yet maintain my blood pressure. This was an all-night battle but he never stopped trying. The act that meant the most was after Michael came in to give bedside shift report, my pain started to get unbearable again. I called out to request my medications and within minutes in walks Michael with my morning meds. I knew that Michael should have gone home over 30 minutes prior to this but found out later that Michael heard about my request and volunteered to bring my medications in, to keep my pain at bay. What an Extraordinary Nurse! What a selfless act this was showing devotion to "his" patients. GRMC is blessed to have Michael MaHarry. He is an amazing nurse with a heart to serve!
