Autumn was very attentive to my pain and discomfort. She was always prompt and courteous every time I buzzed. When my children were visiting she made us feel like extended family. She has a great bedside manner, very patient in helping and explaining everything so I understood clearly. She is very humble, she made me feel good.

Being a professional nurse means the patients in your care must be able to trust you, it means being up to date with the best practice, it means treating your patients and colleagues with dignity, kindness, respect, and compassion. Nursing is not just a job. Autumn has demonstrated all of these traits. She made a difference in that patient's stay. The fact that the patient took the time to write this and submit it is a reflection of her hard work and dedication. Nurses are trained to analyze all that's going wrong with patients, computers, and equipment. But when they stop and focus on the "patient" that is when the magic happens. The family and the patient have a moment of gratitude. That is a moment that the patient felt safe and grateful. Autumn did just that, she gave that patient that moment of feeling safe and being trustworthy. I want to congratulate her for her effort and sincere work ethic to our patients.
