I had at least two or three occasions with Jordana and her skills of patient care. She makes extremely practical and realistic comments regarding mutual patients. On a few occasions, I wanted to discharge a patient to home with home healthcare but she asked me if I would give her a few minutes of time. Then she called me and said that she walked patient and is really unsafe for home and would benefit from SNF care. She makes the comments so professionally and kindly that I would never think that as insult or meddling. I never had any problem with family members when I had her on the case, even if I was rough she could always straighten up with her professionalism and kindness. Her knowledge of medications is superb. She remembers all her patients. I always look forward to having her on my cases.

I was admitted to the hospital with C Diff and I didn't know anything about it. Jordana was my admitting nurse. It was just about the change of shift and she was so patient and kind with me. She didn't rush admitting me and getting me settled. She made sure I understood what was happening and more comforting, why it was happening. She said she'd see me the next morning. She came in the next day eager to help me, explained everything that was going on, settled my nerves and reassured me everything was going to be ok. She kept coming in to check on me and got to know me a little better and shared a little about her nursing career and career plans. Again, at the end of the shift, she said she'd see me the next day. Sure enough, she came in the 3rd day excited to see me and tell me how much better I was doing. If I had any apprehensions during my stay she immediately put them to rest. She is compassionate, kind, caring and loving. She is exactly the kind of nurse I'd want anyone in my family to have assigned. She is passionate about her work and it shows. You are truly blessed to have her working for Saddleback Memorial. I thank you and thank God he put her in my path.
